Parmen Zöldség - Gyümölcs Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (Parmen Fuit and Vegetable Trading and Service Ltd.) is established. At the beginning, the company’s activity consisted of production, buying, packaging, preparing for export and sales of fresh fruit and vegetables. Amongst the various products that were sold, fresh sour cherry and industrial horseradish were the main products.
Besides fresh export, starting production of 720 ml pitted sour cherries.
Following the acquisition of 2001, Parmen Kft. owns a canning plant. The company runs the canning activities separately, as a part of Parmen Konzervipari Zrt. Parmen Konzervipari Zrt. builds up a high-level infrastructural background through constant production and technical developments.
Due to changes in the ownership structure, Parmen Kft. and Parmen Konzervipari Zrt. merged on the 5th of July 2017 and keeps its business activities going under the name of Parmen Konzervipari Zrt.
Parmen Canning Ltd. has carried out an extension of its plant in Nyírmeggyes. Within the framework of the investments, the production hall was extended and a new technological line was purchased. The company has started to produce pulse products.
